High-End Refinement with Truck-Like Utility & Power: the 2023 GMC Yukon

Three decades after it first debuted here in the Gaithersburg and Bethesda area, the GMC Yukon is still going strong as a full-sized, capable SUV that drivers can depend on for all of their driving needs. The three-row Yukon combines the style and spaciousness of an SUV with the underpinning strength and utility of a pickup truck, and the Fitzgerald Buick GMC of Rockville team can help you get to know it better, today.

The GMC Yukon has three engine options available, a top towing capacity of 8,400 pounds and a top payload capacity of more than 1,700 pounds, depending on how you get yours configured.

To begin your new Clarksville adventures in a Yukon, choose from a menu of five trims. Depending on your preference, power will come from:

  • 5.3-liter V8: produces 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque and comes standard on the Yukon SLE, Yukon SLT and Yukon AT4 models
  • 420-horsepower 6.2-liter V8: 460 pound-feet of torque, which comes standard with the top-of-the-line Yukon Denali models
  • Diesel-powered, turbocharged 3.0-liter six-cylinder: 277 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque, optional for the Yukon SLE, Yukon SLT, and Yukon Denali

An SUV must have topnotch safety features in order to be the right fit for your family, and GMC understands this. That's why the new Yukon comes with a slew of sought-after safety features standard, with additional amenities available as you explore all models. Highlights include:

  • Standard forward collision mitigation
  • Standard automatic emergency braking
  • Standard lane-keeping assistance
  • Optional blind-spot monitoring
  • Optional rear cross-traffic alert warning system
  • Optional adaptive cruise control

In addition to a spacious interior and the latest safety features, the GMC Yukon also comes through with a complete list of tech and comfort amenities that drivers are looking for. Standard equipment includes smartphone integration and a touchscreen interface, and available options include:

  • Heated and ventilated seats
  • Hands-free, power-operated liftgate
